Bronchman Emu

'Were?! I've still got it boy! Castle door swinging open! *castle door swinging open sfx*'

Bronchman Emu is the disapproving father of Jazz Emu and a respected name in the business of foley. He insists on the family tradition of becoming talented foley artists, showing much distaste in Jazz's rejection of tradition to follow music.

While in a constant state of disappointment in Jazz, Bronchman does appear to show some occasional remorse or sadness about his loss of connection with his son. Admittedly, is is unclear if he is actually talking about his much more beloved late son Grahamothy (Jazz's elder brother).

Bronchman seems to be quite wealthy, living in 'Emu Manor and Movie SFX Studio'. It is also possible that this was just inherited from Emus before him.


Appearance

Bronchman shares a similar face structure to Jazz, a large forhead, prominent jaw and long neck. However, he has a larger nose and a considerable amount of wrinkles. He keeps his hair longer -like his son- but it is mostly greying, with the rest of his hair being darker than Jazz's. His posture is quite slouched.

He dresses in a black blazer, black trousers and a grey, brown and yellow patterned shirt. Additionally, he wears a light brown fedora with a red and black ribbon. Occasionally Bronchman is seen wearing a similar pair of glasses to Jazz.


Abilities

  • Electric Sax - From the ending of 'Dad's be Like', it is implied that Bronchman knew how to play the electric sax.

  • Foley - He is an extremely talented foley artist, being taught from a very young age.

  • Gardening - On his various social media pages, Bronchman talks about his allotment and the vegetables he grows there. He seems to enjoy growing courgettes the most.

Relationships

  • Jazz Emu - Bronchman's second born son. They appear to have a strained relationship, due to Bronchman's constant dissapointment in Jazz for abandoning his foley training in pursuit of music, making Jazz one of the first in the Emu family line to not go into foley.

  • Bonson Bonsonson - Bronchman's grandson. Despite being in the same room together during Episode 4 of 'The Sound of Us', Bonson and Bronchman never interact directly so it is unclear what their relationship is like.
  • Grahamothy Emu - Bronchman's first born son. It is unknown what Grahamothy and Bronchman's relationship was like, however it is stated that Grahamothy was the favourite son due to his dedication to the Emu family and art of Foley.
  • Mother Emu - Bronchman's wife. While the audience never meets Mother Emu, it is implied that Bronchman misses her but tries to avoid thinking about her. Bronchman keeps a picture of them together with a young Jazz in a closed chest on the floor.
